Phil Hester leaves AMD as its CTO
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. has revealed that their chief technical officer Phil Hester is leaving the company.
He has now become the third top level executive in the company to quit the company in the recent times.
AMD representative said in a statement that Hester has resigned to pursue other opportunities.
He had joined the company in 2005 from Newisys. He was the founder of this company. Before that he worked at IBM.
AMD has been struggling to compete against Intel in the PC Microprocessor market.
