Yahoo committed to their advertising program
Internet media giant Yahoo is in the middle of all the rumors and news nowadays.
Microsoft wants to acquire it and they have placed a strong bid for the company.
Yahoo has just announced a trial collaboration with Google where they are going to use their advertising on US based search result pages.
However the company has said that they are still committed to their own advertising platform and this collaboration is just a test.
Yahoo President Sue Decker wrote in an email message to employees: “Let me be clear about our commitment to search. We have every intention of being a significant player in search, and paid search is an important part of our business.”
Market analysts say that this new development just proves that Yahoo’s own advertising platform still fails to match the Google’s platform which has been a major success in the market.
