China Mobile and China Unicom signs up deals with Ericsson
Telecom equipment provider Ericsson has announced that they have signed deals with the two leading Chinese mobile service providers China Mobile and China Unicom.
These deals are worth around $1.44 billion. The company added that they would now expand the GSM networks of these companies.
The deal with China Mobile itself is worth around $1.3 billion. They would be supplying core and radio network equipment and related technical support and services.
The company added that they have already started delivering the supplies and they would be completing them by the end of the year.
