Novell expanding their operations in India

Novell Software has announced that they are going to expand their presence in the Indian market.

The company aims to invest Novell Software in India in the coming three years.

Novell said in a statement: “The investment will be mainly on people, physical infrastructure and market expansion. We are not just using the talent pool available here to develop the best interoperable Linux and IT management software, but also to sell our products here.”

They have been present in the Indian market since around 14 years and are now aiming to gain from the growing Indian economy.

Novell President Ronald W Hovsepian added: “We see a great business opportunity in India as companies are migrating from proprietary source platforms to open source platforms. We want to cash in on our mixed-source platforms that are interoperable with the proprietary systems.”
