AT&T to cut around 4,600 jobs

US based telecom giant AT&T has said that they are going to cut around 4,600 jobs from their operations.

This job cut would primarily affect management-level employees.

The company added that the cut would result in first-quarter pre-tax charge of $374 million.

These job cuts would mean that the company is going to trim their global workforce by around 1.5 percent.

However, their overall head count would remain pretty much the same as they are expanding their operations in other countries.

AT&T Spokesman Walt Sharp added that the company is currently notifying the workers affected by this cut.
