Patni Computer Systems to hire 4000 workers
Patni Computer Systems is one of the largest software exporters in the Indian IT market. The company has now said that they are looking for potential acquisitions to expand their business operations.
In fact, the company plans to hire as many as 4000 new workers this year alone to expand their operations in the domestic market to drive its growth as more and more business comes in. Mrinal Sattawala, executive vice-president said in a statement on their plans: “We would like to acquire companies whose revenues are roughly 10 per cent of Patni revenues. We would like to acquire companies with revenues of $45-50 million.”
He further added: “We have an active merger and acquisition engine. We are looking for acquisition that offers growth opportunities.” Patni Computers had revenues touching $450 million last year.
They are looking for companies that would add to their client list or expand their business capabilities to serve more markets.
