Linden Lab: Mark Kingdon is the new CEO of the company

Creator of the Second Life web based service, Linden Lab has announced that they are now naming online marketing executive Mark Kingdon as its new chief executive.

Kingdon is currently the CEO of digital marketing agency Organic Inc which is part of the Omnicom Group Inc.

He has also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the past as a senior partner.

He would join the company at the new position on May 15.

He would take over from Philip Rosedale who is the founder of the service. Rosedale would then become the chairman and work on product development and strategy at Linden Lab.
