Samsung Electronics post impressive results
Samsung Electronics has posted impressive results. The company gained from improved sales of their LCD Panels and Mobile Devices.
The company’s net profit improved 37 percent compared to the same period last year. The sales were up 19 percent.
Market analysts said that this performance is especially good considering the weak prices for memory chips.
Samsung did well in the mobile phone market as sales were up 33 percent year-on-year to 46.3 million units.
They are also expected to do well in this market in the coming months with some exciting product launches coming up.
They are still on track to ship 200 million handsets in this year.
