EarthLink closing down the Wi-Fi network in New Orleans
EarthLink has announced that they are going to close down the municipal Wi-Fi network in the New Orleans.
The company could not find a buyer for this network to further support the infrastructure.
EarthLink said: “We were unable to find a buyer — either the city or an outside buyer.”
They are now offering alternate connectivity to the users of this network. They can get EarthLink high-speed broadband or dial-up services in place of Wi-Fi.
