Oracle completes acquisition of BEA Systems
Oracle has announced that they have now completed the acquisition of their old rival BEA Systems.
The company has now received approval from the European Union regulatory bodies for this deal.
This is Oracle’s largest acquisition ever since they overtook the operations of PeopleSoft 3 years ago.
They have been on an acquisition spree since the last couple of years and have spent nearly $35 billion on such deals.
Oracle aims to become a one stop destination for a variety of services through such deals.
