Ford’s Indian subsidiary Ford India has announced the appointment of Michael Bonehan as their new president.
He would take over from Aravind Mathew. Mathew has now been appointed the leader of the Global Product Development of the Ford Motor Company.
Ford said that these new appointments would be valid from June 1.
Bonehan would now take care of Ford’s growth plans in India. The company is investing 500 million dollars more in this market.
He said: “By 2010, we will ramp up our installed capacity to 250,000 units per annum from 100,000 units currently for rolling out compact cars, new versions of engines and critical components for domestic and overseas consumption.”
