Sun Microsystems report lower revenues
Sun Microsystems has come out with their latest quarterly report and the company has reported fallen revenues.
The company’s revenues in the third fiscal quarter were down 0.5 percent to $3.27 billion.
Sun acquired MySQL during this period and as a result they reported a loss for the period of $34 million.
The company added that they are performing well in markets like India and Brazil. But they are struggling in the US market due to bad economic conditions.
Company CEO Jonathan Schwartz added: “The U.S. economy presented Sun with significant challenges in the third quarter”.
