Microsoft rumored to have upped the offer for Yahoo
Market sources claim that Microsoft has now enhanced its acquisition offer value for Yahoo.
Yahoo had rejected the earlier bid of $44.6 billion, or $31 per share.
Both the companies have yet not commented on this report first published by The New York Times.
Market sources say that Microsoft could afford to pay up to $35 a share for Yahoo.
This latest rumor in the market boosted the Yahoo stock at the market by around 80 cents in extended trading.
