Microsoft might consider Facebook for acquisition
Now that it is pretty clear that Microsoft is taking its eyes off Yahoo, market sources say that they are considering enhancing their stake in the social networking service Facebook.
Wall Street Journal claims that the company has sent messages to Facebook indicating their interest for a possible acquisition.
Facebook and Microsoft have declined to comment on these latest rumors in the market.
Microsoft incidentally is already a minor stakeholder in Facebook. They acquired the stake for around $240 million. That deal had put the value of Facebook at massive $15 billion.
