Toyota Prius has sold more than 1 million units
Japanese automaker Toyota has revealed that they have now sold more than 1 million Prius cars around the world.
The company had sold 1.028 million Prius cars by the end of the last month.
Prius is a popular model from Toyota which comes loaded with hybrid technology.
It is very popular with celebrities as well as general public.
It was launched in 1997 and remains one of the best selling hybrid models around the world.
Toyota is currently selling the Prius in as many as 40 markets. Some people buy it to save money on fuel; others buy it as a style statement.
