Comcast invests in Seattle-based GridNetworks
Comcast has been news for creating problems for users who download files from p2p networks.
The company has surprised analysts by announcing their decision to invest in Seattle-based GridNetworks which delivers high-definition video using file-sharing technologies.
The two companies would also be collaborating on peer-to-peer file-sharing techniques which would be friendly with internet service providers.
Comcast had recently announced that they would stop targeting specific types of traffic by the end of the year.
They are also talking with several p2p companies to come out with solutions to prevent choking of broadband lines due to excessive data transfer on p2p networks.
