Ars Technica acquired by Conde Nast Publications
Conde Nast Publications has announced that they are now acquiring the online news media destination Ars Technica.
The financial aspects of this acquisition deal have not been revealed to the media.
Ars would now join their existing network consisting of another popular brand Wired.
The company said that Ars would continue to operate independently. It would still be managed by its editor-in-chief Ken Fisher.
Fisher would directly report to Sarah Chubb who is the head of CondeNet.
Conde Nast also announced that they are relaunching practically dead brands HotWired.com and Webmonkey.com.
