AOL Video launched in India, Canada and Taiwan
US based internet company AOL has announced that they are now launching localized editions of their video portal in three markets India, Canada and Taiwan.
These localized editions would feature domestic content in addition to media from international sources.
AOL is also now working on launching similar online destinations in other markets including U.K., France and Germany later this year.
With this they are taking on Google which has been launching local editions of their YouTube video sharing service.
YouTube India was recently launched to cater to the growing internet audience in India.
