Samsung to spend close to a billion dollars on upgrading memory lines
South Korean tech giant Samsung has said that they are going to invest as much as 946.8 billion won on upgrading their memory lines this year.
This investment would be part of their plans to spend 11 trillion won on various departments within this year.
The company said that this latest infusion would help maximize production and improve cost competitiveness.
Samsung is hoping that this industry would bounce back after a slump which saw prices falling down massively over the past couple of months.
