IBM establishes a Language Translation Services Center in Pune, India

US based IBM has announced the establishment of their Language Translation Services Center in Pune city in India.

The company said that this center would provide services to translate documents from French, German, Italian and Spanish to English.

IBM is planning to establish similar centers in Europe and other Asian countries.

The company has hired staff to do this work. They are also going to use technologies developed in-house to automate some of this work.

IBM aims to have around 2000 people working at this new center.
