Honda City and Civic now cheaper!
Honda Siel Cars India has surprised by announcing a price cut on their best selling models City and Civic.
This comes just as rival automakers are raising the prices of their cars due to increasing costs of the raw materials.
A company representative spoke about this announced price cut: “We have received notification from the government on the central sales tax cut from 3 per cent to 2 per cent announced in the Budget. Hence we are reducing the prices of our models City and Civic to pass the benefit to consumers.”
With this price cut, Honda City is now cheaper by around Rs. 3000. Honda Civic is cheaper by around Rs. 5000.
Honda Accord and CRV continues to be offered at the same prices as they do not qualify for the benefit of CST reduction.
