Donald Grantham resigns as Sun Microsystems’ sales chief

Sun Microsystems has revealed that their global sales chief Donald Grantham has resigned from his position in the company.

He has been working at Sun for nine years.

The company did not give the reason for his decision to leave the company.

Sun has now named Peter Ryan as his replacement. Ryan has been working for the company since the last two years.

Sun has been struggling in the past couple of years and they have been open sourcing a lot of their products hoping to generate revenues through support services.
