Chrysler sales down 25 percent

Ford, GM and now Chrysler has reported a massive drop in sales in the month of May this year.

Chrysler has reported that their car sales were down 25 percent last month compared to the same period last year.

They too are suffering from lack of demand for large pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles.

Customers in US are going for fuel efficient Japanese cars leading to slowing down sales for these companies.

The company said that they sold 148,747 vehicles in May compared to 199,393 a year earlier.

Chrysler further said that they ended May with an inventory of 412,009 vehicles.
