Nissan Micra to be manufactured in India as well

Japanese car market Nissan has announced that they would soon be manufacturing their small car Micra in the Indian market.

The company also plans to manufacture this vehicle in their plants in Thailand and three more markets.

Nissan India plans to manufacture Micra, along with two other new models at the Nissan-Renault plant in Chennai.

A company representative said: “We are shifting the Micra production as we need to take care of the volumes and pricing of the car. This is one of our largest selling models.”
