Orange to cut jobs in UK operations
Mobile service provider Orange has said that they are going to cut up to 450 jobs as part of their UK business restructuring.
The company said that these cuts would be made in their administrative and management areas.
Orange added that they are going to create some jobs in the customer-facing roles.
They are one of the bigger players in the UK market with 15.8 million mobile customers and 1.1 million broadband users.
Company said that these job cuts are essential to “remove duplication” and improve the efficiency of the business.
