Reva! Electric cars to be cheaper in Delhi

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has revealed that the government now plans to offer rebate on small electric cars.

The Delhi government is planning to introduce a 30 per cent rebate on purchase of these alternative fuel cars.

Reva is the company which is going to benefit from this announcement. They are perhaps the only seller of pure electric cars in the Indian market.

Dikshit said on the occasion of World Environment Day: “Air ambient quality has improved in Delhi which in itself is a success story.”
