Tata to bring Jaguar and Land Rover to India!

Tata has plans to bring their newly acquired brands Jaguar and Land Rover to India.

These cars are likely to be imported through the CBUs (completely built units) route.

Market sources say that the company can also adopt the CKDs (completely knocked down) model in the future. This model would dramatically reduce the pricing of the cars here in India due to fewer taxes.

Tata is likely to bring to India the Jaguar XF which would become the challenger to the Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5-Series.

Land Rover Freelander is also expected to arrive in India in the coming years.

Tata already has a couple of products to launch in the Indian market this year. The whole world is waiting for them to launch the Tata Nano in the market which would then become the cheapest car in the world.
