Hyundai Accent CNG launched in India
South Korean automaker Hyundai has announced the launch of the CNG edition of their Accent sedan here in India.
The timing is perfect as a lot of customers are now planning to buy CNG powered cars due to the recent hike in petrol prices.
This new model would cost Rs. 56,500 more than the petrol variant which is currently being sold at Rs. 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The company said that this model would currently be available in the Delhi NCR market as CNG is easily available in these regions.
Hyundai India Managing Director, H. S. Lheem added in a statement: “The Accent has been one of our best selling models ever since its launch. Offering it with a CNG kit will only add to its appeal as it will not only be cheaper to run but also eco- friendly.”
