Skype: eBay supports us fully
Market rumors are pointing towards the possibility of eBay considering plans to sell off their Skype assets.
However, Skype has now responded in a statement that they have the full support of the online shopping giant.
Skype CEO Josh Silverman said in a statement that eBay is extremely supportive of Skype.
He added: “And who wouldn’t be? It’s one of the fastest growing companies in human history.”
eBay had acquired Skype hoping that the service would become a part of how sellers and buyers on their service communicate with each other.
They have however failed to find a way to make the Skype service support their online auction businesses.
