NBC Sports acquires World Championship Sports Network
NBC Sports has announced that they are now acquiring World Championship Sports Network.
World Championship Sports Network is a small television network which televises year-round competitions.
It is owned by InterMedia Partners and also has an online broadcasting network.
It would now be renamed to Universal Sports.
NBC Universal said that they have made an investment in this company and they would jointly control it with InterMedia Partners.
Representative Carlos Silva said in a statement: “The whole vision of this is that we can give the fans 24/7 access to these sports.”
