Hyundai Santro: Named number 1 compact car by JD Power Asia Pacific 2008

Hyundai already has been winning a lot of awards for their recently launched i10 model.

The company has now another award for their other model Santro.

Hyundai Santro in India has been awarded the number one position in compact car segment in the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) by JD Power Asia Pacific 2008.

The JD Power Vehicle Dependability Study rated the cars in eight different segments: compact cars, premium compact, entry mid-size, mid-size, premium mid-size, entry luxury, MUV/MPV and SUVs.

Hyundai Motor India Managing Director H S Lheem spoke about this achievement: “This is deeply satisfying, especially as the JD Power Asia-Pacific study is one of the most esteemed and reliable studies, renowned for its total objectivity. The Santro’s success in being ranked as the best compact car only confirms our commitment to quality.”
