SAP to acquire Visiprise
SAP has announced that they are now planning to acquire Visiprise.
Visiprise specializes in developing software which is used by manufacturing companies to plan, execute and troubleshoot their plant-level operations.
They expect the deal to be complete by next month.
SAP aims to use Visiprise’s software with its business applications in addition to its Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence products.
SAP said that they have been working with Visiprise for a long time and one of their units made an investment into the company in 2006.
