Hewlett-Packard plans to reorganize their printer business
Wall Street Journal has reported that the tech giant HP is planning to reorganize their printer operations to become more efficient.
The report said that HP would trim down the five business units to three to make it simpler to operate.
WSJ said that the company alerted the employees about this new development through a webcast by print division Chief Vyomesh Joshi.
HP’s laser-jet and commercial-printer units are likely to be merged into a single division.
The report stated that the company is not planning to cut many jobs as part of this reorganization.
