eBay boosts PayPal related protection for buyers and sellers
Online auction service eBay has announced that they are adding new security features to their PayPal service to boost customer confidence.
The company said that buyers who pay for items with PayPal will be eligible for full refunds in case the seller fails to deliver the goods.
There is no limit on this amount. Previously it ranged between USD 200-2000.
Sellers on the service would also get unlimited protection against a charge being reversed.
The company said that they are able to provide these new protection services as they believe that they are capable enough to spot and block many fraudulent transactions before they occur.
