Ford F-150 launched delayed
US based automaker ford has announced that they are now delaying the launch of their new F-150 pickup truck by two months.
The company is also cutting down production even further as sales are down in the home market.
Ford added in a statement that their 2008 automotive financial results this year will be worse than in 2007.
The company had posted an overall net loss of $2.7 billion last year.
Ford is struggling in the US market as fuel prices are high and customers prefer to go for smaller cars from Japanese automakers.
Ford further said that it will cut third-quarter production by another 50,000 vehicles.
