GM to cut production of trucks
US based automaker General Motors has announced that they are now cutting the production of their pickup truck and SUVs by 170,000 units in the second half of the year.
The company would however increase the production of their cars.
US market is seeing a major drop in the sales of trucks and SUVs as customers now prefer to go for compact cars due to rising fuel prices.
GM said that they are going to increase production of cars and crossovers by 47,000 units.
Market reports claim that the company is all set to announce their latest offer to provide zero percent financing on trucks to boost sales.
