592 million mobile users in China
China is the world’s largest mobile market. The country now has more than 592 million mobile subscribers.
With this almost every second Chinese now own a mobile connection.
Market sources say that the demand for landline phones is falling.
China had close to around 547.3 million mobile customers at the end of last year.
As for landline users, the country now has around 358 million customers. This number is down by 6.5 million in the first five months of the year.
