Tata to limit Nano publicity to keep costs low

Tata Nano is coming out later this year and it is already one of the most awaited cars of the year.

The company is working hard to make sure that they meet their price target.

Tata aims to launch the car at a price tag of Rs. 1 Lakh ex-factory.

However, rising fuel costs mean that the company would have to take some more steps to achieve this target.

One of the possibilities is that the company would have to reduce the spending on marketing this product.

This would not be a huge deal as the car needs no introduction. Lots of potential customers are already waiting for the company to start bookings for the Nano.

Tata Motors had this to say on the market analyst’s opinion: “We would not like to comment on this. It is too early to comment on advertising cost of a product in July, which would be rolled out by end of this year.”
