Rambus targets Nvidia with a lawsuit
Rambus has sued Nvidia with a patent lawsuit.
The lawsuit claims that Nvidia is violating 17 Rambus-held patents on memory controllers.
This latest lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Rambus claims that their patents are being violated by six different Nvidia product lines.
They are asking the courts for an injunction in addition to monetary damages.
Rambus said that they have been trying to get Nvidia to license their patented technologies. They now expect to settle out of court.
