Mahindra Bolero Pik-Up CNG launched

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the CNG edition of their Bolero vehicle. With this they have joined other automakers in India who are offer vehicles powered by alternative fuels.

Increasing fuel prices are attracting customers to these dual fuel vehicles. Even Maruti 800 and Mercedes Benz cars are now available with dual fuel options.

Mahindra spoke about this new vehicle: “CNG vehicles are known for very low operating cost (and) the government’s increasing focus on developing CNG as a viable fuel will result in rapid growth of this segment. Moreover, the popularity of CNG will increase not only due to rising fuel prices but also because of availability of CNG in major cities across the country.”
