Blaupunkt TravelPilot launched in India

Blaupunkt has announced their entry into the in-car portable navigation devices market in India.

The company has launched three products under the TravelPilot series.

Their rivals in this segment of the market include SatNav and MapmyIndia.

The market is pretty small right now but is expected to grow big in the coming years.

V K Viswanathan, Managing Director, Bosch Ltd spoke at the launch ceremony: “We have been innovating new technologies for the mass market. Blaupunkt’s latest product reflects our technological prowess and commitment towards the development of user-friendly advanced navigation systems.”

The three models are priced between Rs 18,990-25,990.
