Microsoft post 42 percent improvement in profits
Windows Vista might be getting bad press but it still is turning out to be massively profitable for the company.
Microsoft has posted a massive 42 percent jump in profits in the most recent quarter.
The software giant gained from improved sales of their Office and Windows software products.
The earnings were up at $4.5 billion, or 46 cents per share.
Microsoft however could not meet the market expectations which were slightly above these figures.
The revenues jumped from $13 billion last year to nearly $16 billion.
