Comcast would sell their services at Wal-Mart
America’s top cable operator Comcast Corp has said that they would now be selling their services and products at the stores of the retailing giants Wal-Mart.
The aim is to boost sales by making their products and services accessible to more people. And Wal-Mart being one of the biggest retailing stores around the nation gives them a massive market base.
As a result of this deal, visitors to Wal-Mart would now be able to purchase Comcast video and high-speed Internet services at as many as 500 locations within the cable operator’s service area.
The company said in a statement that these products would be available at retailer’s “Connection Centers” within Wal-Mart.
