Apple reports record revenues in most recent quarter

Apple has reported its best ever revenues for the quarter ending in June this year.

However the company failed to impress with its future revenue outlook.

The company came out with report of revenues touching an impressive $7.4 billion in its fiscal third quarter. This is an improvement of 38% from a year ago.

The earnings were at $1.07 billion. This figure is also up 31%.

Apple has now projected its fourth-quarter revenue at $7.8 billion. This is much below the market expectations at $1.25 a share.

This quarter as per market analysts is exceptional for Apple as they have just launched the Apple iPhone 3G. The launch is a massive hit for the company as the device has been sold out in almost all the markets.
