TiVo and Amazon partners for shopping on television

TiVo and Amazon have announced that they are expanding their partnership to bring shopping capabilities to TiVo.

TiVo users would soon get the capability to order products from Amazon.com on TV sets.

This service would be accessible from the TiVo remote itself. They have called this new service Product Purchase.

Advertisers would be able to sell their products through any of the broadcasting networks on the television service.

Products are currently being offered through popular television shows including The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Colbert Report, and Burn Notice.
