IBM acquiring French company Ilog
US based tech giant IBM has announced that they are now acquiring French software company Ilog.
The deal is worth around US$340 million.
After the deal is complete, IBM would integrate Ilog’s business rules management systems with its own business process management and business optimization tools.
Ilog technologies would be used to enhance IBM’s own Tivoli and Lotus software solutions.
IBM has been on an acquiring spree to enhance their services and product range. Last year they had acquired Indian BRMS vendor, Yasu Technologies.
