Google might launch a venture capital investment arm
Search engine giant Google has already been investing in a lot of companies.
Market reports now claim that the company is working on plans to launch an official venture capital investment arm.
The reports claim that this new division could be headed by Google’s senior vice president of corporate development and chief legal officer David Drummond.
The company also seems to have hired the services of William Maris for this unit. Maris is a former entrepreneur.
Intel and Motorola are two popular tech companies which now have their own venture capital investment divisions.
