Mahindra & Mahindra might be interested in Hummer
Market sources say that India’s automaker Mahindra & Mahindra is in talks with GM over a potential deal over the Hummer brand.
Mahindra is likely to be one of the several players who are interested in the Hummer brand.
GM has been posting massive losses due to falling sales of their trucks and SUVs. They are considering plans to sell off brands like Hummer to concentrate on smaller and fuel efficient cars.
However, there are other reports which say that Mahindra is unlikely to get into a deal as they are working on their own plans to launch their products in the US market.
Other players involved in the talks are said to be from Russia and China.
