Lenovo collaborates with Best Buy
China based maker of computing products Lenovo has said that they are collaborating with Best Buy for growing in the US market by acquiring a larger share of the small- and medium-sized business audience.
Lenovo would now be selling their products at the Best Buy’s business-oriented stores. They would be marketing their popular ThinkPad notebooks, ThinkCentre desktops, and new line of Lenovo brand 3000 PCs along with other products at these stores.
These products would also be available on sale through Best Buy Co. Inc.’s Internet and telephone order services. Scott Smith, president of Lenovo Americas said in a statement that this partnership would help them reach an increasing number of users who are turning to in-store experts for their small business IT needs.
Lenovo is aiming at reducing the gap between them and the market leaders Dell and Hewlett-Packard.
