Fabia helps Skoda in India with improved sales

Skoda India has gained immensely from the launch of their model Skoda Fabia in the Indian market.

The company has posted an increase of 83.4 per cent in sales for the month of July this year compared to the same period last year.

Skoda India sold 1,550 units in July 2008. They had sold just around 845 units in July 2007.

The company said that the sales of all of their models have improved in the recent time which has helped them achieve these sales.

Skoda India Board of Directors Member Thomas Kuehl added: “We have grown across all model ranges which is a clear endorsement of our products. With Fabia contributing the most, the growing popularity of Laura and Superb continue to excite the customers for their innovativeness and latest technology.”
